What About Cow’s or Goat’s?

A couple of quick Aidan-related things before the day escapes from me here.

So I get home from work yesterday, and Aidan has something important to tell me, Renee says.

He then announces that there are two kinds of milk. I’m thinking, wow, they must have read some cow and goat book or something during the day.

“Two kinds, bud? What are they?”

“Mommy milk and fridge milk,” he said proudly.

Can’t argue with that.

Then, this morning, I drop him off at preschool. There are 11 kids in his class, and isn’t he lucky, seven girls and four boys. Now, 15 years ago or more and those four boys would have been Mike, Billy, Johnny and Steven.

Today, they are Aidan, Gavin, Dylan and Julian.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Afterall, one of them is mine, but I just find it interesting.

I don’t have all the girls names down yet, but there is Ellie, Claire, Caroline, Caiden and Tatewin (pronounced tuh-tay-wee).

That’s all for now. Busy day ahead.

Who knows, maybe today will be a double post.

What else? I got nothin’.

I told my sister-in-law not to name my niece Claire. Pretty name, but she will be going to school with so many other Claires. And Tatewin? Not knocking anyone’s name, just asking.

    How adorable is he?

Also, I love the name Aidan. Love.

  4. Melissa: Tatewin has a very common last name. But, the origin of her first name is indian…and the world’s two largest casinos, run by indian tribes, are 20 minutes from where I live. Hence the name.

    tatewin…woof. that’s a hard one.

  6. SneekyPeek says:

I met a little girl at the grocery store whose name was James. And her mom kept saying “come on bud”.

So cute! But he forgot chocolate milk. 🙂

Sounds like Will’s preschool, which includes Zoe and Chloe, two Emmas, two Lillys, Dylan, Elias, Austin, Gus, Piper (a girl) and Jayden (a boy).
